Bike Out Hunger Video

Back in January, I posted a video for a bike ride that I'll be participating in this April. That was the video promoting the 2011 ride, but the new one is out now. Take a look and help support the cause if you can at

Training is going well. On March 3, I rode 66 miles in the Gator Ride supporting the Baytown YMCA. The wind was killer, but we had fun. Last week I opted for the shorter 42 mile ride in the Big Thicket Bike Tour and was feeling strong with my fastest average speed ever, so I'm on track to tackle my first century (100 mile ride) on the first day of the MS150 and 70 mile/day average for Bike Out Hunger.

I'd like to extend a big thank you to those that have already stepped up to support me on this ride and the MS150 and ask that all of you help me spread the word as we're at T-1month and counting! Thanks again for all your support and encouragement!

Blessings and Shalom,

New French Horn

Yep, I bought another horn. Can you believe it? It's a truly custom Alexander and — get this — it's a traditional Kruspe wrap, without the Bb rotor facing backwards! I'll show pics and tell a little more about it when it comes in. The plan is to play it for fun and the experience of playing a one-of-a-kind Alex then sell it. I just couldn't resist!
